The Wild symbol can stand for any other symbol, except Scatter, to make the best possible winning combination. In X-Men, there is also a separate payout for two or more Wild symbols on an active payline. The Wild bonus is paid out instead of the regular symbol win if the win amount from Wilds is larger than the win from the regular symbols.

X-Men: Scatter Bonus

The Scatter bonus is awarded to you when two or more Scatter symbols (X-Men logos) appear anywhere on the reels at bet365. The payout for the Scatter symbols is multiplied by the total bet. The X-Men Scatter bonus has a fixed-payout cash prize: the more Scatters, the larger the payout multiplier.

X-Men: The X-Feature

The Free Games are played at the total bet of the spin that triggered the feature. The X-Men Free Games round is played in two modes – the Heroes mode and the Villains mode. The round always begins in the Heroes mode.

Free Games: Heroes Mode

In the Heroes mode, the reels spin upwards, not downwards as usual. During the Heroes mode, the Free Games countdown is paused as the reels spin. This means that you have the same number of Free Spins until the Villains mode is triggered.

In the Heroes mode, the symbols on the reels are the Heroes, the Wild symbol, and the Magneto symbol. The Magneto symbol acts as Extra Wild and when it appears anywhere on reel 3, the gameplay is switched from the Heroes mode to the Villains mode.

Free Games: Villains Mode

In the Villains mode, the reels spin downwards as usual, and the number of remaining spins decreases by one per each spin that is made in the Villains mode.

In the Villains mode, the symbols on the reels are the Villains, the Wild symbol, and the Professor X symbol. The Professor X symbol acts as Extra Wild and when it appears anywhere on reel 3, the gameplay is switched from the Villains mode to the Heroes mode.
